In an oppressive future, Guy Montag has the job of burning all books. In Guy's isolated society, the government, fearing a well-read, thinking public, has outlawed books. Guy's zombied-out wife who gets all her information from a wall-sized TV, but Clarisse, a woman who secretly reads books, ultimately brings Guy to question the government's motives.
