Feel the Chill

Snowmen get dealt a pretty tough hand. With a limited life span, no clothing save for scarves and hats, and lonely nights out in the wind, it's no wonder that every now and again, one of these perma-cheery friends turns that grin into a grimace. And that's when things get ugly. The world's balance of cantankerous vs. cheerful is tipped, and we've got a freezing-cold mess on our hands. What we need to do now, before the weather really turns, is figure out how to help the snowmen manage their anger issues — and at the same time, learn a little something about our own crabbiness, too. Catching a performance of Snowman's Revenge ought to help. This children's play, presented by Piwacket Theatre for Children, will help us all start the sometimes-tense holiday season on the right note, and with a run time of 45 minutes, the play is just the right length for the little ones among us.
