Relationships are funny. Just when you think things are going great and there's nary a pothole in sight — bam! You hit the inevitable bump in the road. This is certainly not news to anyone, least of all Ben and Beth. These two are engaged; he's Jewish, and she's not — or so she thinks. When a blood test reveals that she is, in fact, one of the chosen people, she couldn't be more thrilled. Ben, on the other hand, isn't excited about this revelation. Will this couple be able to work things out? Find out when the New Jewish Theatre stages Bluish, a comedy by Janece Shaffer. The play is presented at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday (March 19 through April 6) at the Wolfson Studio Theatre at the Jewish Community Center (2 Millstone Campus Drive, Creve Coeur). Tickets cost $20 to $28 and can be purchased by calling 314-442-3283; find more information at www.newjewishtheatre.org.
