Figure Paintings... Unframed!

From pierced nipples to man boobs, George Hamilton tans to anchor tattoos, the human body is an ever-evolving work of art. This Sunday, the canvas we all have to work with will be celebrated at the Tuaca Body Art Ball where a troupe of visual and performance artists team up to send living, breathing contemporary art down the catwalk in a "sensual and sassy" variety show to benefit the St. Louis Foodbank. Loaded with singers and dancers from Cirque du Soleil, Forty Duce and America's Got Talent, the Tuaca Body Art Ball's choreographed stage show of painted performers will kick open the Pageant's (6161 Delmar Boulevard) doors at 8 p.m. in anticipation of the 9:30 p.m. show. In advance of the event, attendees can go online and use a unique "Mod Your Bod" tool to transform themselves into a virtual masterwork for display at the show. To Mod Your Bod and register for free Ball tickets (21 and older only) go to www.tuacabodyartball.com.
