For the Record

Giovanna Cassilly has been deeply immersed in painting since she was only fifteen-years-old, learning both in and out of the classroom, developing her skill with the experience that comes from the physical need to express oneself. Her latest exhibition, For the Record, incorporates oil paint and broken vinyl to create hauntingly disjointed portraits. For the Record opens this Friday at the Hoffman LaChance Contemporary (2713 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood; 314-960-5322 or with a free reception from 6 p.m. to midnight, and the work will remain on display Friday and Saturday through Saturday, April 28.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: April 6. Continues through April 28, 2012
