From the Screen to the Playroom: Movies, TV and Toys They Inspire

Tom Stockman is known around St. Louis for his love of films and his massive collection of movie memorabilia — specifically his toys. Stockman brings his expertise to the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue; www.mohistory.org) tonight at 7 p.m. with the illustrated lecture From the Screen to the Playroom: Movies, TV and Toys They Inspire. He'll share more than 100 images of some of the best bits of his sprawling collection, which include Universal Monsters, James Bond and Batman toys in all their many varieties. Admission is free.
