Geography of the Body

When: Saturdays, 12-5 p.m., Thursdays, 12-5 p.m., Fridays, 12-5 p.m. and Tue., July 18. Continues through July 14 2017
Inspired by the 1943 Willard Maas film of the same name, GEOGRAPHY OF THE BODY begins as two artworks by friends: Davey Hawkins (based in St. Louis) and Jenica Heitzelman (based in New York). In bringing these works together, I hope to present a moment that is not only about the body as a landscape (so sensual, simple, human) but also moves beyond that, into curiosities of physical and nonphysical forms (artwork into song) (presence into absence) and a non-binary sequencing of 2, 3, 2, 1On display June 24 – July 18, 2017 Opening performance by DIRT Saturday, June 24
