Sure, we need food and drink to live, but what is life without a pet? To help ensure financially stressed pet owners diagnosed with HIV/AIDS can continue to care for their companion animals, step out for a drink today during Thirst for Life. This fundraiser supports Saint Louis Effort for AIDS' Pets Are Wonderful Support program (PAWS), which helps keep furry friends at home, offering a friendly paw and unconditional love to those who need it most. Participating Thirst for Life establishments -- including Sanctuaria (4198 Manchester Avenue), Park Avenue Coffee (two locations, including 417 North Tenth Street), the Fountain on Locust (3037 Locust Street) and Just John (4112 Manchester Avenue) -- will be donating 20 to 50 percent of your drink tab to the cause during designated hours, so drink early and drink often.
