Grove of Wheels

The Missouri Professional Cycling Series takes over St. Louis all weekend long (Friday through Sunday, May 10 through 12) with three professional races in three separate neighborhoods. Saturday's race, the Tour de Grove, promises to be the best of bunch with an open-invite 5K run, hand cycling, kids' races and the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar pro men and women's races. The day starts with the Tour de Grove 5K run at 9:30 a.m. and then gives way to the cycling races in all age groups and categories. This year's track is a winding 1.2-mile loop through the neighborhood that culminates in a sprint finish along Manchester Avenue. The women's pro race begins at 4:20 p.m., and the men will leave the starting line at 5:30 p.m. For an extensive schedule of all races and activities, visit www.tourdegrove.com.
