Gypsy Bazaar

It's not happening under the sea, but there are gadgets and gizmos a-plenty, whozits and whatzits galore at the 40th annual Gypsy Caravan from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Monday, rain or shine. Hunt for treasure at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (One University Boulevard) amid more than 70 vendors hailing from twenty states. Haggling items including antiques, crafts, jewelry, furniture, clothing and more. While parents shop, kids can entertain themselves at the new children's area, which features kid-friendly activities and entertainment, and bushed bargain-seekers can refuel at the Triton dining and beer garden. Hosted by the St. Louis Symphony Volunteer Association, all proceeds from this mighty Memorial Day market support the symphony. Tickets range from $7.50 to $20; it's free for children twelve years old and younger. For more information, call 314-534-1700 or visit
