Have A Ball

According to the book of Genesis, when Eve sunk her teeth into the forbidden fruit she corrupted the entire natural world for all of us. This New Year's Eve, there's no better place to celebrate the holiday named in honor of our "au naturel femme fatale" than the third annual Beggar's New Year's Eve Ball at the Casa Loma Ballroom (3354 Iowa Avenue; www.brownpapertickets.com/event/512112). Here in St. Louis, the Beggar's Carnivale is synonymous with the sinful and salacious -- and to help everyone renew those original sins for the New Year, the Beggars promise their sexiest, strangest and wildest show yet! There will be plenty of time for resolutions later, so dive into the Beggar's bountiful one-ring circus, stocked with bushels of burlesque artists, high-flying aerialists, hoochie coochie girls and interactive carnival games. Plus there is a midnight Champagne toast, New Year's breakfast buffet and a rollicking dance party. Admission is $69 per person and limited VIP seating is also available. This is a 21-and-older party, and it runs from Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
