Herb Drying Rack

Materials saved from the landfill: picture frames, screen mesh Skills you’ll learn: how to dry herbs, drilling, sanding, adding a wood wax finish Learn to make an herb drying rack from reuse materials with Perennial and Gateway Greening. Dean from Gateway Greening will instruct participants on the basic techniques of drying various herbs. Afterwards, Perennial will instruct the class on some basic woodworking skills to construct a drying rack from picture frames, metal screen, leather belts, and found chain. We will learn about eco-friendly finishes as we apply Perennial’s food-safe wood wax to seal the wood.
