Nora's
1136 Tamm Ave.
(314) 645-2706
Located among Dogtown's shops and restaurants on Tamm Avenue, this little sandwich shop serves singularly great sandwiches. We're partial to the "For Pete's Sake" (sliced smoked pork loin, caramelized onions, bacon, melted brie and cinnamon applesauce), though the cafe's best seller is the "Cold Turkey," with herbed cream cheese, avocado, tomatoes and sprouts. Richmond Heights, MO 63117

Meat is serious business at Salume Beddu. All sandwiches here are made with in-house cured Italian and European meats and fresh sausages. Rather than being piled high with toppings, they're made with a few perfectly paired ingredients. The best seller is the prosciutto cotto, but you really can't go wrong with anything here.
