Cherokee Street is justifiably famous for its eclectic collection of antique shops, independently owned cafes and unique art galleries for the culturally adventurous. The Tin Ceiling (3159 Cherokee Street) is a little bit of all three, and briefly adds "clothing boutique" to its list of possibilities. From 6 p.m. to midnight, Sunday, March 5, the Tin Ceiling hosts the Fashionista Folk Festival, featuring wearables from local designers such as Penny Rae Vintage, Jen Bradford and Lena-Marie Bell. But that's not all: Local musicians of the acoustic persuasion such as Dana Falconberry, Jon Baer, Jesse Irwin and Catherine Kustelski will perform for your enjoyment as well. Tickets for this all-local, all-folkal evening are $10. For more information, call 314-374-1511 or e-mail
