Hog, Two Ways

Any lover of motorcycles knows the value of a fine hog. The bigger, the better, right? That’s why the Rebel Rat Pack is raffling off a 2007 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy during the group’s sixth annual Labor Day Bike Show & Barbecue. As the “bike show” part of the event title suggests, that Fat Boy won’t be the only motorcycle today at Sherri’s Ashby Inn (3206 Ashby Road, St. Ann; 314-426-3939): For five bucks, you can enter your own ride in the appropriate show class and vie for a trophy. Proceeds from the raffle tickets and the show entry fees go to the Amanda Cates Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor the life of the Normandy police officer. This family-friendly fundraiser lasts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; for more information visit www.rebelratpack.com.
