With the death of beloved coach Rick Majerus, December has been a difficult month in the personal arena for fans of Saint Louis University basketball and for the Billikens themselves. But rather than retreating, the team’s bringing the wins, and the Chaifetz Arena (1 South Compton Avenue) has been full of cheers. That's certainly bound to continue to be the case this evening when not one, but two hometown teams take the court to battle for some bragging rights. Be at Chaifetz at 7 p.m. when the Billikens take on the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars for the first time since 1982, and don't hesitate to cheer loud and cheer proud. Remember: St. Louis wins no matter which team gets the W. Tickets cost $12 to $40; visit to make a purchase.
