Encourage Literacy! Bring the family to the Book Fair and Festival on International Literacy Day, Sept. 8th, 10 am to 3pm at a Novel Idea bookstore in Granite City. Six area authors! Contests! Games! Prizes! Music! Fun! Dress as a book character to enter the costume contest. Read the clues for the scavenger hunt. Kids, bring in a short story to enter the writing contest! Everyone will enjoy listening to St. Louis Jazz Musician, Anthony Peterson. Something for everyone! (Prizes donated by Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Fairview Heights, Granite City Cinema, and Bel-Air Bowling in Belleville.)
