Inventor Forge Makerspace promotes STEAM learning in the Greater St. Charles area. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. This celebration and Open House features free giveaways, tours, demonstrations, and free mini-classes. Activities will include: ribbon cutting by local dignitaries; 3D printing demonstrations; and mini-classes: Introduction to the Maker's Movement, Raspberry Pi Programming, Basic Arduino Projects, Creating Your Own Objects with 3D Printing, Introduction to Robotics, Outer Space 101 by STEM Educator Christine Nobbe, Mars Colonization by Mars One Project final 100 candidate Maggie Duckworth, and more. Makerspaces are workspaces where members can bring to life their ideas.
