Seeing as how the music scene and its confident, sexy, gyrating musicians have influenced style for decades, this show ought to, well, rock! Fashions sent down the runway will come from local designers, including TrashBiscuit and Jennifer Neal, and via Chicago, thanks to Evil Kitty and others. Pins & Needles is held at 3141 Locust Street at the REO Lofts building; doors open for cocktails and mingling at 6 p.m., and the runway action begins at 8 p.m. Admission costs $20 (visit www.pinsandneedles2010.eventbrite.com) — and note that new threads and tunes will probably cost a bit more.
