Jean Therapy

New denim, new outlook

With economy woes running rampant and budget crunches happening everywhere, many of us are concerned about our future investments — especially those we'd like to make in fabulous name-brand clothes. Who can afford new dresses with the current state of affairs? And, most important, who has the money to buy a nice pair of jeans for the fall? This is all very troublesome, we know. As with any investment, timing is everything, and some events, like tonight's Designer Denim & Day-to-Night Beauty Delight, have the benefit of excellent timing. This bailout plan for your wardrobe happens at Home Nightclub at Ameristar Casino (1 Ameristar Boulevard, St. Charles; 636-940-4333), and all you have to do for a chance to win 1 of 45 new pairs of jeans is show up! Seriously! And you can make room at home for that new designer denim (brands included in the giveaway are Citizens of Humanity, Paige Premium Denim and more) by simply bringing along a pair of slightly worn jeans to donate — pay it forward, baby. Admission to the event is free if you RSVP to denim@cheresseink.com, and the doors open at 9 p.m.
