Kendrick Smith Sextet: Kind of Blue

Jazz St. Louis Uploaded by ev-stl
Saxophonist Kendrick Smith assembles his sextet for a celebration of perhaps the most iconic album in jazz. Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue has left an impression on millions of people across the globe, it’s often the one jazz album that can be found in a house where there are no other jazz albums. Smith’s all-star sextet features some of today’s best and brightest St. Louis musicians, pulled together just for these performances to salute East St. Louis’ favorite son, Miles Davis.
