Let Your Mind Wander

Let’s face it: Reality can be quite taxing on the feeble human brain, and sometimes you and your mind deserve a vacation from all the appointments, bills and absolutely anything involving work and/or kids. If a trip to a remote island is outside your financial reach, dissolving into a good book can be the next best thing. To facilitate such escapes, the St. Louis Jewish Community Center is hosting a massive Used Book Sale. The literary event kicks off at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 26, at the Staenberg Family Complex (Two Millstone Campus Drive, Creve Coeur). Admission is $10 on opening day and free for the duration of the sale, from August 27 to 30. On the final day patrons are allowed to fill a bag full of books for only $5.
