Time for the good stuff

Such is the case with the Black Rep’s Tell Me Somethin’ Good, which opens the company’s 32nd season. With more than 60 songs included, this thorough show covers everything from the 1950s to hip-hop, and you can join the journey at the Grandel Theatre (3610 Grandel Square) Thursday through Sunday (January 8 through February 8). Showtimes vary, and tickets cost $17 to $43 (at 314-534-1111 or To learn more about the revue, call 314-534-3810 or visit
