Lola van Ella's "Spectaculaire! A Solid Gold NYE" event at the Casa Loma Ballroom (3354 Iowa Avenue) looks like it was the party of the year.
Not only did the party present a variety of burlesque, drag and circus performances, it also offered an open dance floor on which to shake your groove thing and a champagne toast at midnight.
