Part of the Lombardo's family of restaurants that also includes Carmine's and Angelo's Taverna, Lombardo's Restaurant lies across Interstate 70 from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Visitors can choose to sit in the main dining room or in the separate bar area. The restaurant specializes in upscale Italian cuisine, with calamari, fried artichoke hearts and toasted ravioli among the starters and a variety of pasta, chicken, seafood, steak and veal entrées rounding out the menu. Highlights include linguine Lombardo, with homemade sausage, a julienne of onions, peppers and mushrooms, and wine sauce, and veal saltimbocca - a veal cutlet with prosciutto and provolone. Lunch diners can also choose from sandwiches and pizza, or combine both and get a pizza burger.
