Maximum Morpho Madness

Every March, the The Butterfly House (15193 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield; 636-530-0076 or www.butterflyhouse.org) invites some South American guests to spend a little quality time in St. Louis. These guests are Blue Morpho butterflies from Costa Rica, and they'll be in free flight in the Butterfly House's 8,000-square foot tropical conservatory as part of March Morpho Mania. Each of these gorgeous creatures has a six-inch wingspan and a brilliant blue color that dazzles the eye. Even better, this year the Butterfly House will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day in March so that you can have maximum opportunity to luxuriate in the madness. Admission to March Morpho Mania is free with the regular museum admission of $4 to $6.
