While the left sides of our brains and the right sides handle different parts of the human experience, these processing centers aren't so vastly far away from each other so as to be incommunicative. Artsy Right Brain can convey information to analytical Left Brain and vice versa, adding to the richness of our lives and our understanding of the world. A new exhibition at the Foundry Art Centre (520 North Main Center, St. Charles; 636-255-0270 or www.foundryartcentre.org) seeks to highlight this kind of collaborative thought. Fusion: Science and Art brings together elements of the scientific process, specifically those used in medicine, and combines them with artistic concepts, creating a show that all of your brain will enjoy. Fusion: Science and Art opens on Saturday, December 26, and remains on view through Friday, February 5.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 26. Continues through Feb. 5, 2009
