The Best Fake Submissions to Missouri AG's Trans 'Report Line'

Even Governor Parson is surprised at the attorney general's latest stunt.
Last month, Attorney General Andrew Bailey's office launched an online tip line for "victims or their parents" to submit concerns about Washington University Transgender Center's pediatric care unit. And Twitter had a field day.

While the form was meant to report "questionable" gender transition interventions, Twitter users and concerned anti-fascists flooded the tip line with false reports. Those that didn't lambast the attorney general leaned more on the humorous side. Take user Ura Dicheed's concerns for example: "I'm concerned that Andrew Bailey is receiving estrogen supplements to help his transition to a crying ass bitch."

Bailey's office created the form after a whistleblower wrote a blistering critique of the Transgender Center in The Free Press. The whistleblower, former staffer Jamie Reed, had several complaints about how the center cared for young people.

Bailey's since launched an investigation into the center and issued an emergency rule that will put huge restrictions on transgender care for everyone in the state. The new rules will go into effect on April 27.

Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club, the Twitter user whose sharing of the link went viral yesterday, encouraged people to "please feel free to fuck up this disgusting police state informer website."

Twitter heeded the call. So well, in fact, that the complaint form was taken down. Bailey's office confirmed to the Riverfront Times that the flood of spam reports was the cause.

The trolling truly makes the best of an all-around shitty situation. Here are some of our favorite responses:
