The Zombie Run took over Edgar M. Queeny Park just west of Town And Country in St. Louis County on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Racers were faced with a 3.1 mile course with "zombie" volunteers tasked with popping a "life-balloon" worn by the runners. If the balloon pops, the runner is "infected." From the organizers: "But if you're not fast, don't worry! Our course is designed like a zombie movie set, so even if you don't wear your balloon or survive the race, you'll still be in for a great run or walk."
