In his official bio, Jack Hanna lists among his hobbies "causing chaos." That's also a fitting description for many of his most successful TV appearances, when he seems to barely squeak through a seat-of-his-pants segment while explaining the behavior of various animals which may or may not be running loose on the set. But that's part of Hanna's charm. His genuine enthusiasm for his animal charges and his commitment to conservation and the growth of healthy, state-of-the-art zoos, is infectious. Hanna brings that wacky charm, along with a host of animal guests, to three special shows today at 11 a.m., 3 and 5 p.m. at the Center of Creative Arts (534 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-534-1111 or www.cocastl.org). Scheduled to appear with Hanna are a sloth, a palm civet (a cat-sized, South Asian mammal), a young cheetah and other exciting surprises. Tickets are $25 to $34 for each show. Expect a little chaos — it wouldn't be Jack Hanna without some.
