Music Soothes the Scroogey Breast

We're dangerously close to Christmas at this point -- this is often the time when the anticipation and the month-long build-up can make you irritable. There's an antidote for that, in the form of BandTogether. Every year St. Louis' LGBTA concert band presents its Holiday Concert, an evening of seasonal music that blends the sacred with the secular, the classical and the popular, and the reverent and the irreverent to create a show that can shake even the grouchiest Scrooge out of their Christmas funk. It's a gift, this concert, and it's one you can give as well as receive. Bring a friend and rekindle the spirit of the season with some beautiful music. The concert takes place at 8 p.m. at the 560 Music Center (560 Trinity Avenue, University City; Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
