NBAC tour with Wellston's rotating "spintacular" (1954)

National Building Arts Center Tour

This approximately 1.5-hour walking tour of the National Building Arts Center will cover highlights of the collection. We'll look at selected St. Louis buildings, examples of different materials, sculpture, historic machinery, and an insider view of the research library. Come prepared to cover some ground with sensible closed-toe footwear, and bring a mask to wear for the indoor portions of the tour. The National Building Arts Center houses the country's largest collection of architectural artifacts. Located in the historic Sterling Steel Casting Company Foundry, the site interprets the history of building in St. Louis and beyond.
