Nelly's Crappy Wi-Fi Signal Got Him Roasted on Twitter

If you've been living under a rock, legendary hip-hop music producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have been scouting the greatest artists of all time to come together for live battles on their Verzuz Instagram series every weekend.

On Saturday, it was Ludacris and Nelly's turn to play twenty of their biggest hits back to back, and to say that people were excited for the early-2000s nostalgia would be an understatement.

The "Verzuz" series on Instagram has really been taking off. The live streaming series pits two musical artists against each other, with each artist playing their biggest hits in a playful competition.

Verzuz made big headlines recently when it scored a Jill Scott vs. Erykah Badu match-up (#TeamCallTyroneForever), and all last week people were hyped for the big battle between all-star icons Ludacris and Nelly.

Well, on the night of the broadcast, storms were ripping across the Midwest and Nelly's internet signal totally ruined his game. His stream froze and glitched, all but ruining his side of the fight.

There were winners, though. Us. Because everyone dunked on Nelly's wi-fi signal on Twitter, and it was hilarious. One entrepreneur even tried to use the opportunity to sell him a new router. Gotta respect that hustle.
