Neuro Blooms @ Red Chair Studios
Neuro Blooms launches on October 8 as part of "2nd Saturdays" on Cherokee Street. Event attendees can experience open studios, live music, cold drinks and special pricing at local boutiques and antique stores. At Red Chair Studios, 2319 Cherokee, there will be a real-time art install from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. that includes art made by Peter & Paul Community Services (PPCS) clients. Artist Leslie Holt’s Neuro Blooms transforms brain scans into captivating ‘maps’ that promote understanding of mental health conditions, appearing as giant decals of colorful PET brain scans. Each will have a QR code with information and resources.
