Night at the Derby

Pull out your knee pads, mouth guard and get your game face on -- it's roller derby time at The Moolah Theater & Lounge (3821 Lindell Boulevard; 314-446-6866 or www.stlouiscinemas.com). The theater turns into a virtual skating rink at midnight on Friday and Saturday (September 20 and 21) when the Arch Rival Roller Girls stop by for a screening of the roller derby flick, Whip It. The ladies of ARRG will answer questions about the world of modern roller derby before the screening and offer insight on what it takes to be a Stunt Devil or a St. Lunachix. Admission is $3.
Fri., Sept. 20; Sat., Sept. 21, 2013
