The Cardinals play the Cubs. On the Fourth of July. They are playing for first place. Jim Edmonds is there, but (gasp!) he is now a Cub. There is a lot of Busch beer drinking, mostly poured from 24-ounce cans. God Bless America. Roving photographer Jason Winkeler was in the bars, outside the stadium, on top of a parking garage across the street taking it in. Look for the embrace between a Cardinals fan and Cubs fan.

After a Cubs home run, the game gets heated. 9 p.m. This fan lets 'em know it. He could be wearing Budweiser boxer shorts in this photo. We're not sure.

From atop a parking garage across Broadway, fans without tickets took in an grand view. But trust us, it's not a place to watch if you want to argue balls and strikes.

No tickets either? These fans were taking in the game at Al Hrobosky's about 8:45 p.m.
