Our Youth in Taiwan

Please join us for the documentary screening of Our Youth in Taiwan (我們的青春在台灣), the Best Documentary winner of the 55th Golden Horse Awards. The director FU Yue spent 8 years documenting two students who participated in several civil movements since 2011 in Taiwan. After the Sunflower Student Movement in 2014, each of them reflected on how close they came to realizing their goals, how they were let down, and whether it is still possible to continue fighting for ideals in democracy and justice. DCP, color, 118 min. Language: Mandarin and Taiwanese with English and Chinese subtitles. Q&A with the Taiwanese director FU Yu.
