Party at the Scottish Arms

Bring toys

All too often, the phrase "holiday party" carries with it a dark portent. Will the boss get tanked on eggnog? Will Stu from accounts receiving and Julie from accounts payable linger under the mistletoe for a little too long (again)? Fortunately, such worries are irrelevant when you're headed to a truly great party — like the i-squared Holiday Happy Hour. Join i-squared, the Young Friends Network of the International Institute of St. Louis, from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Scottish Arms (6-10 South Sarah Street). There is no cover charge, and drink specials are offered to all who bring gifts for refugee teens. Think fun items such as board games, spa sets and art supplies; the complete "wish list" is available through the International Institute's website and at all Target stores. For more information about the event and about the institute itself, call 314-773-9090 or visit www.iistl.org.
