Partying and Protests Ring in 2015 at the Hyatt Regency

The Hyatt Regency's New Year's Eve blowout was music to St. Louis' ears, with live tunes by Dr. Zhivegas (celebrating its twentieth anniversary), Tess Boyer (the Glen Carbon, Illinois, gal who was featured on The Voice) and the Smash Band. Not all was calm, though, as protesters gathered on Chestnut Street near the Hyatt to call attention to police brutality and issues surrounding Michael Brown's August 9 death.
