Pedals of Spring

Barring another spring blizzard, St. Louis is once again a hospitable place to live for a few months -- until summer brings 100-degree temperatures and 95 percent humidity, of course. Take advantage of sunny, breezy spring weather while it lasts with Bike to Work Breakfast by Trailnet. Participation requirements are simple: Bike by the Downtown Bicycle Station (1011 Locust Street) or Kaldi's Demun location (700 DeMun Avenue, Clayton) between 7 to 9 a.m. and receive a free coffee and breakfast item for your trouble. Trailnet also has a handy resource for tracking your carbon emissions saved and calories burns by registering your commute on ShiftYourCommute.com. Bike to Work Breakfasts continue on the third Friday of every month through Friday, October 18. For more information, call 314-436-1324 or visit www.trailnet.org.
