Peek Under the Fringe 

Something as nebulous as the Fringe Festival warrants more than a mere poster to declare its mission and contents. The series of international festival celebrating burlesque, aerial arts, clowning, poetry, theater and everything in between makes its St. Louis debut this June, and as you might imagine, the lineup is immense and varied. Preview the five-day festival this Tuesday, May 15, at Fubar (3108 Locust Street; 314-289-9050 or for Fringe Tease, a glimpse into what's to come this summer. The "tease" will provide context from organizers who will discuss the festival's history and presence in other cities, and some of the acts scheduled for Fringe will perform.
