Located in Festus right on Main Street, just east of Mill Street, Petit Paree Restaurant and Lounge offers a bit of elegant French flair just a short drive south of St. Louis. The Festus mainstay opened its doors in 1940 and continues to offer refined European and American fare. Appetizers include smoked haddock, escargot and crab Rangoon. Available entrées cover a range of culinary tastes, featuring lamb chops, frog legs, fresh catfish, South African lobster tail, fried chicken and a number of steaks cooked to order on Petite Paree's charbroiler. Diners will also find an expansive wine list with several domestic and imported reds and whites available by the glass and bottle.
