Pork Around for A Bargain

It happens all the time; Here you are at a great garage sale, when suddenly hunger strikes. If you have the audacious confidence, you might ask for a glass of water but that does little to calm the temper tantrum inside your stomach. Lucky for you, the Schlafly Tap Room's Pork Shop can meet the demands of both belly and bargain-hunting. Seriously, folks, this is brilliance; about fifty vendors display their wares for you to peruse while you munch on delicious slow-roasted barbeque. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., local bands Rough Shop, Letter to Memphis, and the Dock Ellis Band add to the ambiance. The Pork Shop is open and ready to be devoured -- whether by hoarders or Liz Lemon impersonators -- from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2100 Locust Street. For more details, contact the Tap Room at 314-241-2337 or visit www.schlafly.com.
