You don't need us to tell you the awesomeness of books (and if you do, you're probably someone who requires whole hoards of information about a host of concepts, and we don't have the time nor space to offer you a full mentorship here -- just sayin'). Anywho, books are fantastic, and when you're looking at thousands upon thousands of them? That's even better. To browse through poetry books, gardening guides, cookbooks, mysteries, political reads, biographies, and even books on tape and books in other languages, head to the Jewish Community Center Used Book Sale, held at 2 Millstone Campus Drive in Creve Coeur. The literary fun happens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday (February 2 through 6). Admission on Sunday is $10 and free all other days, and on Thursday, you can fill a bag with books for just $5 -- quite a heavy deal! Visit to learn more.
