Last winter the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (3750 Washington Boulevard; 314-535-4660) hosted its first Homegrown Etsy Art Sale, connecting local Etsy artisans with one another and letting potential customers scope out the handmade jewelry, clothing, bath products, ceramics, reclaimed goods and much more in a one-on-one format. The gallery's DIY fest proved successful, spurring a second summertime sale on Thursday, June 28, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the gallery's courtyard. Peruse creative crafts and vintage finds while noshing on treats from food truck Lulu's Local Eatery and swaying to live music via KDHX's John Wendland of Memphis to Manchester. This event is free and open to the public; members of the Contemporary are invited to a members-only preview hour between 5 and 6 p.m., with the public welcome after 6.
