The weekend was full of cool weather but Kiener Plaza was heated up with the sweet smells of barbecue.
Q in the Lou fired up the pits for one delicious weekend. The festival took place from October 1 to October 3 in Kiener Plaza Park (500 Chestnut Street). Local pitmasters from Sugarfire, Pappy's Smokehouse and more were all present to let St. Louisans dig into to samples of their delicious food. Music played as guests chowed down on the mouthwatering ribs, pork and other smoked meats.
Live demonstrations from the pitmasters were also taking place, allowing guests to get a look behind the scenes of their favorite BBQ spots.
