Readin', Writin' and Robots 

Nothing says school is back in session like a group story time, and Left Bank Books does its part by providing both a comfy place to sit and the storyteller. Local author and cartoonist Joe Mohr leads session and reads from his first kids' poetry book, Robot + Bike = Kitten. With a title like that, and poems that range from saving the environment to nose picking (and other fun bodily functions), kids are sure to giggle from beginning to end. The reading takes place in at 10:30 a.m. today at Left Bank's Central West End store (399 North Euclid Avenue; 314-367-6731 or, so arrive early to get a good spot. Admission is free.
