Redford and Newman, Together Again

The Super-8 Robert Redford and Paul Newman Movie Madness night could have easily been called "Classic Hunkfest." The final title is arguably more tasteful, but come on, those dudes were hot well into old age. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid and The Sting are the main events of the evening, which starts at 8 p.m. at the Way Out Club (2525 Jefferson Avenue; 314-664-7638) Admission is $3, and there are a couple films that star the two lookers individually, including the legendary Slap Shot (Newman) and Redford's mountain-man epic, Jeremiah Johnson. All films are screened in the Super-8 format, which runs about fifteen minutes a reel. Supposedly the madness ends at midnight, but there could be a few heated brawls over the prize t-shirts and posters from the Redford and Newman trivia portion.
