Rock, Roll, Shop

When shopping at the Rock n Roll Craft Show (www.rocknrollcraftshow.com), Ms. Day gets as excited as she does on Christmas morning. There's just so much to see — and to buy! As a matter of fact, last year she purchased almost all of her holiday gifts from the show, and she has every intention of doing the same this year. She'll probably pick out some jewelry for her mom, an original piece of artwork for her boyfriend, note cards for her nana, cool one-of-a-kind clutches for her sisters, and maybe even a necklace, a T-shirt and other goodies for herself. (The shopping-for-herself part enhances the Christmas-morning feeling for sure!) To make your family members' holidays just as merry, pop on by the department-style show this Thanksgiving weekend, rather than visiting the department stores. The fair, held at the Third Degree Glass Factory (5200 Delmar Boulevard), welcomes you with open doors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (November 26 through 28). Admission costs $15 on Friday and $3 all other days. And if you need a little extra incentive to shop, live music, as opposed to holiday Muzak, will be your craft-show soundtrack.
