Absence, it is said, makes the heart grow fonder. That would seem to be the case, as British jazz/soul band Sade makes its way stateside for the first time since the year 2000. Nearly 30 years into her career, Nigerian-born lead singer Sade Adu is still widely renowned for her sultry voice and exotic beauty, and the band is said to have only gotten better over the years, with a style that remains both subtle and sophisticated. The Sade Live tour, which is in support of its new compilation album The Ultimate Collection, has earned overwhelmingly positive reviews thus far — Sade fans shouldn't miss this one; there's no telling when (or if) she'll be back.
